The Cottonmill and Sopwell Hub became a constituted charitable community group on 6th December 2018, at our first general meeting.

In 2020 we began the process to be able to register as a charity for when our income was high enough. We therefore adopted a new constitution at our EGM on 1st February 2020, more suitable for charitable status. Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, our activities became limited in 2020 and we didn’t reach our anticipated income levels that year, which meant we have postponed the process of registering.

The 2020 Constitution replaces the original 2018 Constitution.
