We are a group of local residents living in the Sopwell Ward, all concerned about the lack of facilities in our area.
We meet regularly, and welcome residents to get involved or stay in touch. Please see our Facebook page, or Contact us for more information.

2021
By mid-November 2021 the building was begun at the site of the old Marlborough Pavilion! The community groups were asked by the council to fund-raise for the last £79k and we set up a Cottonmill Centre Crowdfunder to help this – see Crowdfunder here.
The fund-raising group also sought to get monies from grant bodies and other donations.
By June 2021, the Cottonmill and Sopwell Hub Campaign committee members were at last beginning to feel like we had something to smile about…plans are at last in place to demolish the old Marlborough Pavilion and to start building a new community hub!
